Men’s Tennis Handles Wentworth, 6-1
MILTON, Mass. — The Endicott men’s tennis team defeated Wentworth, 6-1, in a Conference of New England (CNE) clash at the Trent J. Scott Tennis Courts on the campus of Curry College on Tuesday evening.

The Blue and Green created early momentum and never looked back.
In doubles action, No. 3 Ethan Hopman (Summit, N.J.) / Patrick Johnson (Beverly, Mass.) turned in a convincing 6-1 win, kickstarting the Gulls.
Meanwhile, No. 1 Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) / Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and No. 2 George Danes (Old Lyme, Conn.) / Eric Scalici (Essex Fells, N.J.) each soared to 6-2 victories to take the opening point.
From there, Spencer Smith (Albany, N.Y.) (No. 6, 6-0, 6-1), Scalici (No. 5, 6-0, 6-2), and Terpko (No. 4, 6-0, 6-2) clinched the match with dominant performances.
The Gulls' top singles player via Kadel generated a 6-3, 6-1 triumph, while No. 3 Hopman secured a gritty 6-3, 3-6, 14-12 victory.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Today was Endicott's first and only neutral-site game of the season.
- The Blue and Green have won three straight conference contests.
- Scalici is 5-2 in the No. 5 slot during his freshman campaign.
