NEW LONDON, Conn. — The Endicott men's tennis team fell to No. 52 Connecticut College, 5-2, on Thursday evening in a non-conference contest.
The Camels took two out of three doubles matches to take the early 1-0 lead.
Endicott's top duo of Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) / Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) turned in a 6-4 victory.
In singles action, Kadel struck again with an emphatic 6-3, 6-4 win at No. 1, while Spencer Smith (Albany, N.Y.) produced a 6-3, 6-3 triumph in the No. 5 slot.
BEYOND THE BOX
- Connecticut College was ranked No. 52 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll.
- The Blue and Green were 35-13 (.729) in singles matches in CNE action and went 18-6 (.750) in CNE doubles play during the regular season.
