DUDLEY, Mass. — The fourth-seeded Endicott men’s tennis team lost to first-seeded Nichols, 4-1, in the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts.

The Gulls fell behind early in the match, 1-0, after dropping the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles flights.
However, the top doubles pairing of Conrad Kadel (Heidelberg, Germany) and Aaron Terpko (Shrewsbury, Mass.) fought hard and put together a gritty performance in their 6-4 loss.
In singles, Nichols won three out of four flights (No. 4, No. 3, No. 5) to secure the 4-1 victory and punch its ticket into the championship round.
Eric Scalici (Essex Falls, N.J.) was dominant at No. 5 in the Gulls' sole singles victory, winning decisively, 6-0 and 6-2.
