Gulls Fall to MIT, 3-0

Beverly, MA - Endicott fell to visiting MIT tonight in the Post Center in the NECVA New England matchup. After dropping 2 close battles, the Gulls were unable to mount a comeback and fell to the Techies 0-3. The game scores for the match were 30-32, 28-30 and 19-30.
Outsides, Eric Hunter and Mike Coflesky each picked up 10 kills for the Gulls. Brandon Ecker led the team with 13 digs and was followed by Hunter's 8. Russ Friedland handed out 28 assists and George Chapell led the team with 3 blocks.
MIT was led by Rob McAndrew's 20 kills and 6 blocks. Jordan Wan dished out 40 assists and Ryan Dean led the Techies with 9 digs and 2 aces.
For the Gulls, this is their first set back in NECVA New England play as they fall to 2-1 in conference and 4-2 overall. MIT continued their perfect season, improving to 5-0 overall and in NECVA New England play.
Endicott will return to action on Friday when they will travel to Mount Ida for a 7:00 PM match. MIT will also return to action on Friday as they will host the MIT Invitational.
