BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott senior outside/opposite Troy Riorden (Fairport, N.Y.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Men's Volleyball Player of the Week for his performances in matches played from March 19-25. It was announced by the conference earlier today.

Last week against Eastern Nazarene (W, 3-0) and Newbury (W, 3-0), Riorden led the Gulls to a 2-0 week in conference play behind 2.80 kills per set (14 total), a .700 hitting percentage, six service aces and five digs (1.00 d/s).

Riorden's play also helped Endicott extend its winning streak to 10 straight matches. During that stretch, the Gulls have won 30 straight sets and maintained their perfect 6-0 record at home.

Today's NECC Men's Volleyball Player of the Week announcement is the third honor for Riorden in his career, and second this season. (3/26/18, 2/26/18, 3/7/16).

Endicott (17-1, 8-0 NECC) travels to Elms College on Tuesday, March 27 at 7 PM. The winner of tomorrow's match will have a clear path to securing the NECC regular season title and the right to host the conference tournament in April.
