No. 8 Men’s Volleyball Takes Two From Eastern Nazarene
BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men’s volleyball team earned a pair of conference sweeps against Eastern Nazarene on Wednesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium. The Gulls took match one by scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-18, and match two by scores of 25-17, 25-9, and 25-19.

BEVERLY, Mass. – The No. 8 nationally ranked Endicott men's volleyball team earned a pair of conference sweeps against Eastern Nazarene on Wednesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium. The Gulls took match one by scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-18, and match two by scores of 25-17, 25-9, and 25-19.
MATCH ONE: No. 8 Endicott 3, Eastern Nazarene 0
Rafa Robert (San Juan, Puerto Rico) filled the stat sheet in match one as the junior outside collected 12 kills on 16 swings (.688). He also had one assist, three service aces, three digs, and went a perfect 8-for-8 on serve-receive in the win.
Meanwhile, Gabe DeBenedetto (Rockford, Ill.) orchestrated the offense with season-high 29 assists (.426).
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Match one featured 21 ties and five lead changes.
- The Gulls registered a season-high (tied) 12 block assists.
MATCH TWO: No. 8 Endicott 3, Eastern Nazarene 0
Gabe Felicetti (Charlestown, R.I.) paced Endicott in the nightcap with 11 kills on 15 swings (.533) to go along with three service aces, three digs, and two block assists.
Bryn Lipton (Rockford, Ill.) also added nine kills (.471), eight digs, and two block assists, while Ian Smith (Elk Grove, Calif.) was nearly perfect on offense posting a 7-0-8 (.875) line.
DeBenedetto once again ran the majority of the attack with 16 assists (.485) in two sets played.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Match two only featured eight ties and two lead changes.
- Endicott raced out to an 8-0 advantage in set two eventually come away with a 25-9 victory in the middle game.
- The Gulls are 8-0 all-time against Eastern Nazarene and have never dropped a set in the series.

No. 8 Endicott (4-2, 4-0 NECC) travels to conference rival Elms on Friday, March 26 at 7 PM. Eastern Nazarene (2-2, 2-2 NECC) hosts Wentworth tomorrow at 7 PM.
