EC Places 5th at CCC Championship

The Gulls were led on Saturday by sophomore Scott Baldelli whose 11th place overall finish put him one spot away from being named to the All-Conference Team. Baldelli had one of his best races of the season finishing the 5 mile course with a time of 29:27.

The efforts of captain Ben Quirk also helped the men's team. Quirk placed 19th overall with a time of 30:55. The freshmen tandem of Tim Lyons and Ryan Darmody also scored for the Gulls finishing 34th (32:44) and 35th (32:44) respectively.

Captain Bill Shemansky rounded out the scoring with his 46th place finish and a time of 34:09.

The Gulls wrap up their season in two weeks at the New England Regional Meet at Twin Brooks Recreational Center in Cumberland, ME.
