    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for his 12th place performance at last weekend’s conference championship meet.

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott freshman Will Connelly (Barrington, R.I.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Rookie of the Week for his 12th place performance at last weekend's conference championship meet. Connelly has now been named the CCC Rookie of the Week five times this season.

    Last Saturday, Connelly was the fastest freshmen on Western New England's 8-kilometer championship course with a time of 27:56. For his efforts, Connelly claimed CCC Rookie of the Year accolades.

    Connelly's performance also helped the Gulls finish second overall as a team, which matches their best finish at the CCC championships in program history.

    Connelly and the rest of the Endicott men's cross country team return to action on Saturday, November 12 at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals in Westfield, Mass. at 12 p.m.
