LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Endicott softball student-athletes Gina DeMilt (Princeton, N.J.) and Jamie Hopgood (Warwick, R.I.) were recently named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-New England Region Teams, as announced by the NFCA on May 15. DeMilt was named to the Second Team, while Hopgood earned Third Team honors.
NFCA DIVISION III NEW ENGLAND REGION SECOND TEAM
GINA DEMILT | SENIOR | OUTFIELD | PRINCETON, N.J.
DeMilt finished out a stellar senior campaign with a team-leading .423 batting average. She finished the season with 60 hits, 43 runs, 28 RBI, 11 doubles, five triples, one home run, and five stolen bases. DeMilt also notched 17 multi-hit games and appeared in every single contest for the Gulls this year. She earned All-CCC First Team honors for her efforts on the field and this is her first NFCA accolade.

JAMIE HOPGOOD | SENIOR | AT-LARGE | WARWICK, R.I.
Hopgood appeared in all 40 games for the Gulls this season and finished the year with a .305 batting average, 40 hits, 41 RBI, 31 runs, 13 doubles, and a team-leading eight home runs. She had 12 multi-hit games throughout the year and earned All-CCC First Team honors for her efforts. This is Hopgood's first career NFCA award.
YEAR IN REVIEW
The Gulls finished the 2019 season with an overall record of 33-7 and a perfect 16-0 mark in conference play. Endicott captured its 11th CCC Championship title in program history and first since the 2014 season. The Gulls went on to make an appearance in the NCAA Regional round.
