Duchesne Scores Conference Honors

Springfield, Mass. - Endicott College junior guard Nicole Duchesne (Plaistow, N.H./Central Catholic) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference women's basketball Player of the Week, as announced by TCCC Commissioner Gregg Kaye on Monday afternoon.
Duchesne, who has led the Gulls' offense with 17.5 points per game, dropped a game-high 22 points in a 72-55 win over Emerson College on Wednesday evening. Duchesne shot 43% (6-of-14) from the field, 75% (3-of-4) from beyond the arc and 78% (7-of-9) from the free-throw line in the win.
Endicott (4-4 overall, 0-0 TCCC) returns to action after the New Year as the Gulls fly south to the Florida Sunshine Shootout in Fort Lauderdale. The Blue and Green will match-up with Amherst College on January 4th, and will then take on Spalding (Ky.) the following day. The Gulls return to their home floor on January 8th against cross-town rival Salem State College at 7:00 p.m.
