Women's Basketball Turns Away Nichols, 76-63

DUDLEY, Mass. – Behind a near triple-double from Olivia Duncan (Essex Junction, Vt.), the Endicott women's basketball team bested Nichols, 76-63, on Friday evening at the Nichols Athletic Center.
Tied 55-55 with 6:47 to play in the contest, the Gulls produced a 21-8 run to put away the Bison.
Duncan led the charge with eight points, while Lexi Gellerman (West Hartford, Conn.), Emily St. Thomas (Sterling, Mass.), and Mariah Chamberlain (Jaffrey, N.H.) contributed four points apiece.
Duncan ended up finishing the contest with 15 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists (all career-highs).
Gellerman and Chamberlain both chipped in with 11 points each, while Shannon Gilbert (Easton, Conn.) notched 10 and St. Thomas poured in nine.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott holds a 28-5 advantage in the all-time series against Nichols.
- The Gulls have won 11 straight versus the Bison and 20 out of the last 21 contests.
