The visitors came out firing on all cylinders in the third quarter, opening the half with a 7-0 run. A timely three-pointer from Garabedian pushed the lead back to 10 points at 39–29. Curry responded with another scoring run, but Garabedian answered once again, knocking down another clutch triple to make it 44–35.
