Gabby LaRiviere has been selected to lead the newly established Endicott College women's golf program as its first head coach, Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics Brian A. Wylie, Ph.D. announced today. Her official start date is June 1, 2026.

"Gabby is the ideal person to lead the development of our women's golf program here at Endicott. As both a respected player and coach, she has dedicated her career to growing and advancing women's golf, doing so with tremendous passion, energy, and purpose," said Wylie. "Combined with her strong competitive drive and vision for the program, Gabby has already generated an incredible level of excitement for what will begin this fall at Turner Hill Golf Club."

LaRiviere comes to Endicott with diverse administrative and coaching experiences across the sport.

She currently serves as the Director of Recreation at Ferncroft Country Club, and previously spent years developing youth talent as a varsity golf coach at Peabody High School (2021-23) and a program coordinator for First Tee (2021-24).

At Ferncroft, LaRiviere oversees aquatics, fitness classes, and youth programming for golf and all racquet sports.

Meanwhile, as a golf instructor coaching high-level high school-aged young women in New England, LaRiviere developed and implemented practice plans to improve players' skills, including driving, putting, and short-game techniques. She also led the Peabody program to achieve consistent success in regional and state competitions, fostering a culture of teamwork and dedication.

"As a young female golfer, I often competed on teams where I was the only girl, and later coached programs where female representation in golf was limited," said LaRiviere. "Those experiences shaped my passion for growing the game for women and creating opportunities for future female athletes. I am incredibly excited to join The Nest and help lead the CNE's seventh women's golf program, building a competitive, supportive, and empowering program for our student-athletes."

At First Tee, LaRiviere was a program coordinator and grant writer for youth programming and lessons. She also coordinated scholarship applications and funded golf opportunities for youth players.

LaRiviere launched her career at Spruce Peak Resort in Stow, Vermont, as the Assistant Director of Recreation Golf Seasons. In this role, she championed community outreach, gave private lessons, and organized women's leagues, outings, and Jr. PGA Programs.

LaRiviere brings specialized instruction credentials that support student-athlete development and injury-aware coaching. She holds a Level Coach certification through the Professional Golf Teachers Association of America (PGTAA) and a Level 1 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), which allows her to incorporate golf biomechanics and movement-based instruction into her coaching approach. These certifications help LaRiviere design practice environments that improve performance while supporting long-term athlete health.

In addition, she is a selected LPGA volunteer who attends and volunteers at many LPGA tournaments throughout the year.

LaRiviere is a 2021 graduate of Saint Michael's College with a degree in Environmental Science and Education. She also obtained a Master's in Business Management and Leadership in Recreation from Regis University.
