BEVERLY, Mass. – The second-seeded Endicott women's ice hockey team is set to play third-seeded Morrisville State this Saturday in the Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) Tournament semifinals at 4:15 p.m., on the campus of first-seeded Stevenson University in Reisterstown, Md. at the Reisterstown Sportsplex.
THE MATCHUP: Endicott went 1-0-1 against Morrisville St. during the regular season. The Gulls claimed a 2-1 win in the first-ever meeting between the two programs on February 5, before earning a 2-2 overtime tie on February 6 against the Mustangs after trailing 2-0 in the third period.
ENDICOTT (13-6-4 | ROSTER | SCHEDULE): The Gulls enter Saturday's semifinal matchup on a four-game winning streak (Feb. 12-20). During that span, Endicott has outscored its opponents 10-1, which includes three shutouts.
MORRISVILLE ST. (10-13-3 | ROSTER | SCHEDULE): The Mustangs have won their last three games all coming against Johnson & Wales University, which includes a 7-0 win over the Leopards in the CHC Tournament quarterfinals.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Saturday's matchup will feature the No. 2 (Endicott) and No. 3 (Morrisville St.) ranked teams in goals against average in the CHC this season.
