    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women’s ice hockey student-athlete Michaela O’Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goaltender of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today.

    CCC WEEKLY RELEASE

    BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athlete Michaela O'Brien (Pembroke, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Goaltender of the Week, as announced by the league earlier today.

    Last Saturday against No. 1 nationally ranked Middlebury, O'Brien stopped 40 shots in a 2-1 overtime loss, marking her second-highest save total on the year.

    Saturday's matchup was the second meeting between the two programs this season. Their November 28, 2021 tilt ended in a 2-1 regulation win for the then-No. 2 ranked Panthers over the No. 9 Gulls.

    This is O'Brien's third CCC Goaltender of the Week award this season and fourth overall in her career (CHC, 11/11/19).

    No. 10 Endicott (9-3-1, 7-1-1 CCC) visits Nichols on Friday, January 14 at 4 PM.
