Morris Repeats As CCC Player Of The Week
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's junior ice hockey forward Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for the second straight week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's junior ice hockey forward Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) has been named the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Player of the Week for the second straight week, as announced by the league office Tuesday.
Morris guided the No. 14 nationally ranked program to a 2-0-0 week via two goals, two assists, and a +4 rating against the University of New England.
On Friday, January 12, Morris scored the game-winning goal and dished out an assist in Endicott's 4-0 win at UNE to earn a +2 rating on the ice.
The next day, Morris doubled down with another goal and assist for the Gulls en route to a 4-2 home victory over the Nor'Easters. She once again finished with a +2 rating.
This is Morris' second career CCC Player of the Week award (1/8/2024).
