Gulls Sweep CCC Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. — Three members of the Endicott women's ice hockey team have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday.
BEVERLY, Mass. — Three members of the Endicott women's ice hockey team have earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office on Monday.
The trio of Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.), Lily Anderson (St. Paul, Minn.), and Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) took home Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, and Goalie of the Week accolades, respectively.
TEAGHAN HALL
Hall aided Endicott to a 2-0-0 week against Salve Regina as the sophomore forward compiled two goals and two assists alongside a +4 rating.
She buried one tally in the Gulls' 4-0 road win on Friday before potting one more and dishing out two assists in Endicott's 5-1 home victory on Saturday.
This is Hall's first career CCC Player of the Week award.
LILY ANDERSON
Anderson netted a goal and notched an assist in the Gulls' 2-0-0 week.
She dished out her lone assist on Friday night and buried her only tally of the week for the Gulls' second goal on Saturday.
This is Anderson's second career CCC Rookie of the Week award.
CASEY MORITZ
Moritz secured CCC Goalie of the Week honors with 27 saves, a .964 save percentage, and one shutout in two games (only one goal allowed) in two starts.
Moritz posted 10 saves in the road victory, locking down her fifth shutout of the year in the process, and followed up that contest with 17 more stops on Saturday.
This marks Moritz's fourth Goalie of the Week award (10/30/23, 12/11/23, 1/8/24).
