Hall Named Finalist For Laura Hurd Award
BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athlete, Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) has been named a finalist for the 2024 Laura Hurd Award, given annually to the best NCAA Division III women's ice hockey player in the country, as announced by the organization on Monday.

BEVERLY, Mass. – Endicott women's ice hockey student-athlete Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) has been named a finalist for the 2024 Laura Hurd Award, given annually to the best NCAA Division III women's ice hockey player in the country, as announced by the organization on Monday.
Sponsored by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA), the Hurd Award honors the memory of former Elmira College standout Laura Hurd. A 2005 graduate of Elmira, and a four-time All-American, Hurd died in an automobile accident shortly after graduation. She was the recipient of the AHCA Player of the Year Award in 2005.
Hall is the first student-athlete from Endicott to be named a finalist since Jade Meier (Fairbanks, Alaska) in 2020.
The sophomore compiled 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points this season in 26 games played.
She finished the year with a plus-26 rating which led the team and ranked first in the CCC.
Hall's other CCC ranks include the following categories/statistics: goals (4th), assists (8th), points (4th), goals per game (4th), points per game (4th), and game-winning goals (5th).
The recipient of this year's Hurd Award will be announced on Thursday, March 16.
