GORHAM, Maine – The Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Southern Maine, 2-0, in non-conference action on Saturday evening at the USM Ice Arena.
Lilly Corso (Winchester, Mass.) broke open a scoreless contest late in the second period (17:16) with a second-chance effort for her first goal in an Endicott uniform.
Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.) also added an empty net goal at 18:26 of the third to lock up the win.
In goal, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas) stopped 14 shots for her seventh career shutout.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 7-1-1 all-time against Southern Maine.
- Jenna Seibold (Reading, Mass.) picked her 14th career assist on Corso's game-winner.
