BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women’s ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 4-3, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.

BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Western New England, 4-3, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Friday night at Raymond J. Bourque Arena.
Ella Rago (Quincy, Mass.), Maggie Holt (Cumberland Foreside, Maine), Mackenzie Graham (Billerica, Mass.), and Cammi Ahern (Oswego, N.Y.) all scored in the victory.
Graham broke open a 2-2 tie at 11:19 of the third when she pushed home a loose puck in the crease for her first of the season (fifth career).
Ahern followed with an empty net goal one minute before the end of regulation, which proved to be the game-winner as the Golden Bears potted a power play tally 38 seconds later to make things interesting.
Rago put Endicott on the scoreboard just 1:20 into the matchup, while Holt made it 2-0 at the 1:28 mark of the second.
Western New England countered with back-to-back strikes at 6:32 and 16:05 to set up the three-goal third period.
Lauren Ferrari (Bridgewater, N.J.) made 16 saves in her collegiate debut between the pipes.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott leads the all-time series 9-2-0.
- Maggie Lynch (Quincy, Mass.) finished the contest with a single-game career-high three assists.
- Ahern netted her first career game-winner.
- The Gulls are 2-0-0 at home this season.

- Holt buried her second career goal (first of the season).
- Gracyn Kurrle (Middlesex, Vt.) notched her first career point with the primary assist on Graham's third period goal.
