Wimler Collects CNE Rookie of the Week Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's ice hockey forward Jo Wimler (Portland, Conn.) has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
BEVERLY, Mass. — No. 15 Endicott women's ice hockey forward Jo Wimler (Portland, Conn.) has been named the Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week, as announced by the league office Monday.
Wimler recorded an assist in the Gulls' 5-3 road victory over No. 11 Bowdoin who at the time were undefeated. The assist came in the third period, with Endicott holding a 4-3 lead, and the goal re-gained Endicott's two-goal advantage as they held on to defeat the Polar Bears.
The freshman was a +1 in the contest and went 7-10 at the faceoff dot in the road victory.
This is Wimler's second career Rookie of the Week award (12/16/24).
