No. 11 Women's Hockey Skates Past Curry On Senior Day, 4-2

Before puck drop, Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.), Lindsay Goodman (Newmarket, N.H.), Payton Hansen (Spring City, Pa.), Tara Henshaw (Babylon, N.Y.), Avari Maxwell (Wrentham, Mass.), Jess Michals (Westwood, Mass.), and Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.) were all honored for their contributions to the women's ice hockey program and the Endicott College community in a pre-game ceremony.
The Gulls led 2-0 following the first period as Mackenzie Graham (Billerica, Mass.) got Endicott on the board at 10:58 mark as Michals doubled the lead with just under two minutes left.
Curry would cut the lead to one early in the second period, but a Henshaw power play tally at 11:43 regained Endicott's two-goal advantage. The Gulls lead stood at 3-2 going to the third period after Curry potted another goal late in the second period.
Michals' second goal of the game closed out the scoring at 11:33 of the third period to secure the 4-2 home victory.
In goal, Casey Moritz (Trophy Club, Texas.) made 31 saves as her record improved to 11-3-0 on the season.

WHAT'S NEXT
No. 11 Endicott (20-4-1, 15-2-1 CNE) enters the CNE tournament as the No. 1 overall seed and will play on Saturday, March 1, at home with an opponent and time to be determined later. Curry (11-13-1, 9-9-0 CNE) will await its seeding in the CNE tournament.
