CNE CHAMPIONSHIP: Women's Hockey To Host Curry For Title Opportunity At 3 PM
BEVERLY, Mass. — The first-seeded Endicott women's ice hockey team (21-4-1) hosts second-seeded Curry (12-13-1) on Saturday at 3 PM in its quest to earns its fourth ever conference championship and first Conference of New England (CNE) Championship.

Saturday's game is a ticketed event and no cash sales will be offered at the game. All tickets are $6 for all ages and children 2 and under are free. All ticket holders must present a printed-out copy of their order OR the QR Code on their phone for admittance. Tickets can be bought at this link found on the team's schedule.
The Gulls advanced to the championship after best fifth-seed Suffolk, 3-1, behind two goals from CNE Player of the Year Samantha Fantasia (Billerica, Mass.).
Curry punched its ticket to the CNE Championship after the Colonels trounced third-seeded UNE, 5-0, at home.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott is 11-1-1 at home this season, while Curry is 2-11-1 on the road.
- Saturday's matchup will be the third time the two programs have met in the postseason, with each team winning a game apiece.
- Six of the top 10 goalscorers in the conference will square off in this matchup with Danielle Reid (Plainview, N.Y.), Bella Mardesich (Murrieta, CA.), and Grayson Goolgasian (Johnston, R.I.) ranking for 1st, 7th, and 8th for the Colonels, while Fantasia, Rivers Morris (Braintree, Mass.), and Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) all rank 2nd, 3rd, and 4th.
- The Gulls swept the season series versus Curry, going 3-0-0. The Blue and Green outscored the Colonels 13-4 across the three matchups.
- Curry leads the conference in faceoff winning percentage at 57.9 percent, while Endicott boasts the No. 1 scoring offense at 3.46 goals per game.

The winner of Saturday's contest will be crowned the 2024-25 CNE Women's Ice Hockey Champion and earn the league's automatic qualifier into the 2023-24 NCAA Division III National Tournament.
