HARRISVILLE, R.I. — The No. 12 Endicott women's ice hockey team defeated Nichols, 6-2, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Saturday afternoon at Levy Rink.
The Gulls had six different goal scorers to lead them for the road victory.
Maggie Holt (Cumberland Foreside, Maine), Ava Baker (North Reading, Mass.), and Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) all found the back of the net in the first period to open up a 3-0 lead after the opening 20 minutes.
The Blue and Green added two more early in the second period with Maddie DiNardo (Topsfield, Mass.) and Lilly Corso (Winchester, Mass.) both potting goals. Nichols would cut into the deficit with with two goals a minute part before a Julia Carrigan (Northfield, Ill.) tally made it 6-2.
Endicott's defense then kept the Bison off the scoreboard as they held them scoreless over the final 20 minutes to secure the win.
In goal, Celia Dahl (Orono, Minn.) made 21 saves in her first start of the season.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott is 23-3-1 all-time against Nichols.
- First career goals for Baker and Carrigan.
- First goals of the season for DiNardo and Holt
- Eliza Barker (North Kingstown, R.I.) recorded her first career multi-point game with two assists.
- Hall added two assists, her sixth career game with three points.

No. 12 Endicott (5-1-0, 3-1-0 CNE) travels to No. 4 Middlebury for the Panther/Cardinal Classic on Saturday, November 28 at 3 PM. Nichols (2-6-0, 0-6-0 CNE) hosts Western New England on Friday, December 5 at 4:40 PM.
