CNE CHAMPIONSHIP: Women's Ice Hockey Looks To Go Back-To-Back In Championship Bout vs WNE (3/7, 3 PM)
BEVERLY, Mass. — The first-seeded Endicott women's ice hockey team (20-4-2) hosts second-seeded Western New England (18-7-1) on Saturday at 3 PM as it looks to repeat as Conference of New England (CNE) Champions and win the program's fifth conference title.
Saturday's game is a ticketed event and no cash sales will be offered at the game. All tickets are $6 for all ages and children 2 and under are free. All ticket holders must present a printed-out copy of their order OR the QR Code on their phone for admittance. Tickets can be bought at this link found on the team's schedule as doors will open 60 minutes prior to the game.
The Gulls advanced to the championship after best fourth-seed UNE, 3-0, behind goals from Ella Rago (Westford, Mass.), Julia Carrigan (Northfield, Ill.), and Mackenzie Graham (Billerica, Mass.).
Western New England punched its ticket to the CNE Championship after the Wildcats trounced third-seeded Johnson & Wales, 4-1, at home.
FIVE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
- Endicott is 11-2-0 at home this season, while Western New England is 8-4-0 on the road.
- This will the first time the two programs will square off in the championship game.
- The two teams went 1-1-1 against each other this season.
- On Wednesday the CNE announced postseason awards with Teaghan Hall (West Springfield, Mass.) headling the announcement be being named Player of the Year for the second time in her career.
- The matchup features the top two scoring offenses (WNE, 1st, 3.19 and Endicott, 2nd, 3.00) along with the top two scoring defenses (Endcicott, 1st, 1.54 and WNE, 2nd, 1.96).

The winner of Saturday's contest will be crowned the 2025-26 CNE Women's Ice Hockey Champion and earn the league's automatic qualifier into the 2025-26 NCAA Division III National Tournament.
