Women’s Lacrosse Receives IWLCA Academic Honors
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's lacrosse program has earned Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Association (IWLCA) Academic Squad accolades for its efforts in the classroom during the 2024-25 academic year.
Additionally, Lydia Akins (Edina, Minn.), Leah Black (Cheshire, Conn.), Annabelle Gray (Londonderry, Vt.), Jaira Paine (Granby, Conn.), Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.), Kelsey Sullivan (Nashville, Tenn.), Lily Troupe (Newburyport, Mass.), Emily Typrowicz (Palos Verdes, Calif.), and Clare Wendell (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
Teams must maintain a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year, while student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better to be eligible (juniors, seniors, grad students only).
YEAR IN REVIEW
Endicott went 16-5 overall and 9-0 in league play. The first-seeded Gulls defeated third-seeded Hartford, 25-19, in the CNE Championship game to earn the program's 14th conference title and advance to the NCAA Tournament.
The Blue and Green also secured the program's second-ever NCAA Tournament win against Emmanuel (Mass.), 20-3, in the First Round, before falling to No. 4 Colby, 17-1, in the following round.
