Women’s Lacrosse Tops Hartford On Senior Day, 17-6
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team defeated Hartford, 17-6, in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Saturday afternoon at Hempstead Stadium.
Before the contest, Leah Black (Cheshire, Conn.), Annabelle Gray (Londonderry, Vt.), Maggie Holt (Cumberland Foreside, Maine), Caroline Rocco (North Grafton, Mass.), Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.), Kelsey Sullivan (Nashville, Tenn.), and Clare Wendell (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) were honored for their contributions to the Endicott College community and women's lacrosse program in a pre-game Senior Day ceremony.
Smith led the way offensively for the Gulls, compiling four goals and five points total, tying the game-high in both categories.
Abbie Belleville (Salem, Conn.), Holt, and Black all buried two tallies apiece, while Emerson Clark (Gloucester, Mass.), Sophia Notine (Kennebunk, Maine), Grace McAfee (Upper Township, N.J.), Kendal Kelsey (Queensbury, N.Y.), Sullivan, Ava Amara (Southbury, Conn.), and Kenzie Velsmid (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.) potted solo markers to round out the scoring.
In goal, Severine Michel (Seekonk, Mass.) pushed her record to 10-3 overall, stopping four shots on the afternoon.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Today's contest was a rematch of last year's CNE Championship (EC win, 25-19)
- Endicott is 4-0 all-time against Hartford.
- The Gulls improved to 7-1 at home this season.
- Hartford is 4-6 on the road this spring (5-0 at home).

Endicott (12-4, 9-0 CNE) visits Western New England on Wednesday, April 22 at 4 PM. Hartford (9-6, 6-3 CNE) hosts Suffolk next Wednesday at 7 PM.
