Smith And Spellman Highlight Women's Lacrosse CNE All-Conference Honorees
BEVERLY, Mass. – The Endicott women's lacrosse team has claimed 11 total awards in this season's Conference of New England (CNE) Postseason Awards, as announced by the league office on Thursday morning.
Headlining the group was senior Mia Smith (Portsmouth, N.H.), who was named CNE Scholar Athlete of the Year.
In addition, head coach Maureen Spellman was named Coach of the Year in the conference for the fifth time in her career (2019, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026) and for the fourth consecutive year.
Additionally, four Gulls were named to the First Team All-Conference team, two were named to the Second Team, two were recognized on the Third team, and one was named to the Community Service Team.
Lastly, Kelsey Sullivan (Nashville, Tenn.) was named as the Gulls' representative on the CNE Community Service Team for her charitable contributions and outstanding leadership within the Endicott community.

Scholar Athlete of the Year | All-CNE First Team
Smith becomes just the second student-athlete in Endicott women's lacrosse program history to earn Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors (first since 2002). She joins Kristin Hagerman '02 as the lone Gulls to earn the esteemed honors.
Smith boasts a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.98 as a Psychology major.
She is a two-time Academic All-Conference honoree, along with being named to the 2024-25 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District First Team and the 2025 IWLCA Academic Team.
The senior also has collected All-CNE First Team honors for the second consecutive year and has been named to the all-conference teams each of her four years.

Coach of the Year
Spellman and the rest of the coaching staff led Endicott to its 11th undefeated conference season in program history.
The Gulls led the league in Scoring Offense (17.33), Scoring Defense (7.39), Draw Controls per Game (15.56), and Caused Turnovers per Game (10.94).
Spellman is 105-44 overall (.705) and 62-2 in conference games (.969) in her nine seasons (2018-present) at the helm of the program.
During that span, Endicott has won four conference championships (2018, 2019, 2024, and 2025) and advanced to the title game in every season.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (14-4) advanced to the CNE Championship for the 20th time in program history after defeating Hartford, 22-8, on Wednesday afternoon in the CNE Semifinals. The first-seed Gulls will now host No. 2 seed Roger Williams on Saturday, May 2 at 3 PM for the CNE Championship.
