On a wet and slippery pitch, the Gulls jumped out to an early lead and continued that run throughout the match.
"Our players did a great job of keeping play tight and working on the support play," said Endicott women's rugby head coach Emily Record. "Merrimack was playing a woman down for two 10 minute periods and we were able to capitalize."
Junior Samantha Hontas (Lee, Mass.) led the way for the Gulls finding the try zone three times. Melissa Almeida (Foxborough, Mass.), Michelle Palmer (Brimfield, Mass.), Jordan Zak (Brimfield, Mass.), Cassandra Dablain (Harwinton, Conn.) and Lauren Wilson (Charlton, Mass.) also contributed with one try a piece.
Endicott will take the field next on Sunday, October 25th as they host Plymouth State University for a 12:00 p.m. matchup at Hempstead Stadium.
