Women's Rugby Competes in Salve Regina 7s Tournament

NEWPORT, R.I. — The Endicott women's rugby team competed in the Salve Regina 7s Tournament on Sunday afternoon and went 2-1 over its three games of play.

The Gulls defeated Boston College B (25-20) and UConn B (25-5), and suffered a loss to Salve Regina A (25-10).

Colleen Mitchell (Glastonbury, Conn.) — Five tries

Caitlin Padeck (Easthampton, Mass.) — Three tries

Sophia Montanari (Bradford, N.H.) — Two tries; named Player of the Match for Endicott

Laila Baer (Pasadena, Calif.) — One try

Chloe Marconi (North Andover, Mass.) — One try

Endicott returns to action next Saturday at URI for the URI 7s Tournament.
