Gulls Hang Six on Wentworth

BEVERLY, MA -- Sophomore striker Paula McGinn (Lynn, MA/Lynn Classical) netted two goals and handed out two assists to lead Endicott College past Wentworth Institute of Technology, 6-0 Saturday at Endicott College.
The Gulls (1-2) were shutout in their first two games, but McGinn and company were firing on all cylinders Saturday versus the Leopards (1-3). McGinn began the scoring at the 12:46 mark of the first half assisted and the lynn native capped the scoring at 74:30. Senior midfielder Jillian Zagura (Hudson, MA/Hudson) assisted on the first goal.
Freshman midfielder Shannon Pillsbury (Montclair, NJ/Montclair) and sophomore midfielder Kelly Dillon (Franklin, MA/Franklin) also scored in the first half while junior forward Caitlin D'Amario (East Longmeadow, MA/East Longmeadow) and sophomore midfielder Ashley Clark (West Newbury, MA/Pentucket), who also had an assist, added second half scores.
Junior Tina Loguidice (Hyde Park, NY/F.D. Roosevelt) and freshman Jackie Lyons (New Windsor, NY/Cornwall Central) split time in goal to record the shutout.
The Gulls look to make it two straight Wednesday night when they host Eastern Nazarene (7:00 P.M.)
