Women's Soccer Earns Conference Awards

BEVERLY, MA-Sophomore striker Paula McGinn earned Commonwealth Coast Conference Player of the Year. The announcement came Saturday prior to the Gulls' 2-0 win over Gordon College in the CCC tournament final.
This marks the third year in a row that an Endicott player has received this award. McGinn scored 20 goals for 45 points as the Gulls went 12-0 in CCC regular season play and earned an automatic NCAA bid with its CCC title.
Katie Cederberg also got in on the 2005 awards, receiving the Senior Scholar-Athlete Award. Cederberg, and education major, holds a 3.99 GPA and is working to complete her student-teaching internship this semester. She has started every game in all four years and tallied two goals and seven assists in her college career.
Endicott will face Western Connecticut this Saturday at Wheaton College in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
