Conference honors Pepin for second straight week
Springfield, Mass. - Junior forward \#Colleen Pepin\# (Fairhaven, Mass.) earned Offensive Player of the Week honors from The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) for the second straight week after leading the Gulls to the conference championship game.
Pepin scored four goals and added an assist in two TCCC Tournament games last week. In the semifinals against Western New England, Pepin tallied three goals including the game winner in the Gulls' 4-1 win.
On Saturday, the junior assisted the game-tying goal in the second half before adding one of her own to give Endicott (15-5-2) a 2-1 lead over host Roger Williams in the TCCC Championship. The two teams battled to a 2-2 tie through two overtime periods before the Hawks earned the victory by way of penalty kicks (4-2).
For the season, Pepin has a team-high 23 goals and six assists. The hat trick against WNEC was her fourth hat trick and seventh multi-goal game of the season.
