Corbett selected to play in NEWISA senior bowl

Beverly, Mass. - Endicott senior midfielder Kayla Corbett (Danvers, Mass.) has been selected to participate in the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl. The game, which features players from Division I, II, and III, will be played on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Merrimack College in North Andover, Mass.
Corbett, a senior captain who garnered First Team All-TCCC recognition, helped Endicott make its tenth consecutive conference championship appearance in her final season with the Blue and Green.
Corbett and the Gulls also made their tenth consecutive postseason appearance, falling to host Keene State in the ECAC Northeast Championship. Endicott finished the 2010 campaign with a 17-6-2 overall record (11-2 TCCC).
A four-year fixture in the midfield, Corbett appeared in 81 games for Endicott during her career and started in all 25 games in her final season. She finished the year as the team’s second leading scorer with 12 goals including four game winners.
