Hoover, Keaveney Sweep CCC Weekly Awards
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's tennis student-athletes Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) and Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) have both earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today. Hoover earned her third CCC Player of The Week award and first of 2019, while Keaveney earned her second Rookie of The Week Award in as many weeks.
CCC WOMEN'S TENNIS WEEKLY RELEASE
BEVERLY, Mass. — Endicott women's tennis student-athletes Justine Hoover (Wallingford, Conn.) and Ashley Keaveney (Exeter, N.H.) have both earned Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) weekly awards, as announced by the league office earlier today. Hoover earned her third CCC Player of The Week award and first of 2019, while Keaveney earned her second Rookie of The Week Award in as many weeks.
In their win this week over Gordon, Hoover collected a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, and an 8-0 win at No. 1 doubles with partner Gretta Hartman (Glastonbury, Conn.).
Meanwhile, Keaveney earned a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles, and an 8-1 win at No. 3 doubles with partner Cara McCormack (Worcester, Mass.).
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott (9-3, 5-2) will host Salve Regina in a CCC Quarterfinal matchup on Wednesday, October 16 starting at 2 PM.
