Women's Tennis Closes Out Regular Season With 7-0 Sweep At Saint Joseph (Conn.)
WEST HARTFORD, Conn. — The Endicott women's tennis team defeated Saint Joseph (Conn.), 7-0, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon at the Elizabeth Ferry Speer Tennis Complex.
In doubles, No. 2 Nadia Uzelac (Waltham, Mass.) and Samantha Hartmann (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J.) swept their match with a score of 7-0, while No. 3 Abbey Fleming (Wolfeboro, N.H.) / Amber Woods (Scarborough, Maine) collected a 6-1 win to secure the doubles point for the Gulls.
Endicott continued its dominance in singles as Emily Leclerc (Manchester, N.H.) won her No. 1 match 6-0, 1-6, 6-4; Caroline Sutliffe (Duxbury, Mass.) cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 2; Uzelac collected a 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 3; Milana Montini (Southbury, Conn.) captured a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 4; Fleming secured the 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5, and Julia Rockler (Lidingo, Sweden) capped off the sweep with a 6-0, 6-0 triumph victory at No. 6.

"I'm glad we were able to close out the regular season in style this afternoon," said Endicott women's tennis head coach Dejan Stankovic. "Hopefully we'll be able to bring this momentum into conference playoffs and make a run at the title."
