CNE CHAMPIONSHIP: No. 5 Women's Tennis Falls To No. 2 Nichols, 4-1
DUDLEY, Mass. – The Endicott women's tennis team fell to Nichols, 4-1, in the Conference of New England (CNE) Championship on Sunday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts.
Nichols captured its seventh conference title in program history, and back-to-back championships. The Bison will represent the CNE in the NCAA Tournament next spring in 2026.
After Abbey Fleming (Wolfeboro, N.H.) and Amber Woods (Scarborough, Maine) earned a 6-0 victory at No. 3 doubles, the host Bison secured the doubles point in the match with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles and a 6-2 win at No. 2 doubles.
In singles action, Nichols turned in victories at No. 2 (6-3, 6-1) and No. 1 (6-0, 6-2) to take a 3-0 lead before Woods put a point on the board for Endicott at No. 6 singles, winning 6-1, 6-4.
The Bison then clinched the championship point at No. 3 (6-2, 6-2) to best the Gulls.

- Woods finishes the fall season with an 8-2 singles record.
- After the victory today, Fleming and Woods conluded the season with an 8-1 doubles pairing record.
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott finishes its fall season with a record of 9-7 and will return to action in the spring. Nichols finishes its 2025 fall season with a 14-1 record.
