Professional Aspirations
Completed four internships throughout her high school career... She shadowed many doctors and nurses in the following fields: Trauma Surgery, Med/Surgical, Private Pediatric Office, Pediatric Emergency Room and Maternity/Birthing... in ten years she sees herself working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner while simultaneously attending school to become of Doctor of a Nursing Practice
Community Service
Completed 300 hours of community service in high school, which included volunteering at soup kitchens, Meals On Wheels, tutoring elementary students, fundraising for organizations, and volunteering on a dairy farm
Annie on her community service experiences:
"Tutoring the kids at a local elementary school was something that I really enjoyed because I was with the same student two times a week and we were able to form a relationship and I was able to watch them grow academically. This meant a lot to me because I saw the impact that my support was having on the student."
