Women’s Track & Field Shines At Suffolk Invitational
HINGHAM, Mass. — The Endicott women’s track and field team posted several noteworthy performances in its final tune-up before the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship on Sunday evening at the Suffolk Invitational, hosted at Hingham High School.

Olivia Folkes (Amston, Conn.) headlined the Gulls with a first place finish in the 400-meter dash (1:06.27).
Hevyn Pray (Rehoboth, Mass.) also broke her own school record in the 100-meter dash (13.31, 2nd overall) to highlight 10 personal records (PRs) for Endicott on the day.

"It was another great day for the team to get some racing in before next week's conference championship. It has been a quick season, but I'm happy for how they have handled everything thus far," said Endicott women's track and field head coach Spencer Lange. "The way they continue to push each other and have fun at these meets is a great thing to see. The goal is to stay healthy and ready to go for next weekend!"
OTHER ENDICOTT HIGHLIGHTS
- Kelsey Hunter (Simi Valley, Calif.) put together an impressive day with PRs in the long jump (15-2.75, 2nd), triple jump (31-5.25, 2nd), and 400m (1:08.99, 4th).
- Nicole D'Angelo (Readfield, Maine) ranked second in the javelin (71-6, PR) and shot put (33-4.75), and third in the 100m (13.80).
- Cassandra Cosma (Center Moriches, N.Y.) led a group of five Gulls in the two mile run behind a first place finish and school record time in the event (12:51.40).
- Ella Aldrich (Winchester, Mass.), Kylie Lorenzo (Newbury, Mass.), Julia Sheetz (Waterbury, Conn.), and Isabella Zachem (Eugene, Ore.) followed Cosma in second (12:58.79, PR), third (13:16.85), fourth (13:57.71, PR), and fifth (14:03.99, PR), respectively.
- Pray also finished second in the 200-meter dash with a time of 28.24.
- Giana Nekitopoulos (West Springfield, Mass.) earned runner-up honors in the 100-meter hurdles (18.38) and also finished third in the long jump (14-4).
- Bianca Del Maestro (Malden, Mass.) was second in the high jump (4-4.75) and third in the 100 hurdles (18.51).
- Catherine Schultz (North Kingstown, R.I.) posted a personal best time in the one mile run (6:33.98, 5th).
- The Gulls' 1600m Sprint Medley consisting of Pray, Amanda Recupero (Ipswich, Mass.), Folkes, and Jordan Williams (Boxford, Mass.) ranked second overall in the event with a time of 4:59.06.
- Recupero also placed third in the 200m (28.50).
WHAT'S NEXT
Endicott will compete in the CCC Championship on Sunday, May 2 at Portsmouth High School in Portsmouth, Rhode Island (hosted by Roger Williams University).
