Women’s Track & Field Wins Regis Spring Classic
WESTON, Mass. — The Endicott women's track and field team captured first place honors at the Regis Spring Classic on Friday evening.
Endicott scored 112 points to rank ahead of Gordon (81), Emmanuel (77), Framingham State (70), UMass Boston (70), Regis (63), UNE (56), Lasell (21), Hampshire (13), and Mass. Maritime (2).
Overall, the Gulls compiled 12 top-3 finishes, including five event wins, three runner-up honors, and four more third place performances.
Sophomore Abby Griffith (Franklin, Mass.) headlined the squad with first place finishes in the triple jump (35-9.50) and high jump (4-11.50).
Willa McKay (Whitman, Mass.), Tiana Brown (Nashua, N.H.), and Addy Smith (North Kingstown, R.I.) also bested the field in the 400m (1:02.77), 400m hurdles (1:07.08), and 200m (26.67), respectively.
