BEVERLY, Mass. – The second-seeded Endicott women's volleyball team has advanced to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Championship match for the 10th time in program history. The women will travel to Bristol, R.I. to take on top-seeded Roger Williams at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Endicott currently possesses an overall record of 21-9 while they finished the regular season with a conference record of 8-1. Roger Williams currently possesses an overall record of 20-6 with a conference record of 9-0. In the regular season meeting between these two teams, the Gulls fell in five sets in a tightly contested match, by scores of 15-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-23, 15-10 (recap here).
Endicott has qualified for the CCC tournament every year since joining the conference back in 1999. The women have claimed five conference titles over that 18 year span, the last of which came last season. With head coach Tim Byram at the helm, Endicott has produced a 360-264 (.577) record overall, including a conference record of 130-28 (.823).
The Gulls come into the CCC Championship match after a 3-0 sweep of #3 Salve Regina in the semifinals. Endicott's defense limited the Seahawks' offensive weapons while Emma Mancini (Lynnfield, Mass.) and Zoey Gifford (Natick, Mass.) led the offensive attack with 17 kills and 45 assists, respectively. Endicott won by scores of 25-21, 25-22, 25-17.
The Hawks have advanced to the Championship match after sweeping #4 Wentworth 3-0 in their semifinal match. Leading the attack were Grace Kenningham and Laura Lolacono who posted 11 and 9 kills, respectively. Roger Williams won by scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-17.
The winner of the match will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament, for which seedings, locations and times will be announced on Monday.
