Women's Volleyball Sweeps UNE On Senior Day, 3-0
BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's volleyball team defeated the University of New England, 3-0, by scores of 25-22, 25-14, and 25-20 in Conference of New England (CNE) action on Wednesday night at MacDonald Gymnasium.
Prior to the match, seniors Kelsey Sanborn (Londonderry, N.H.), Sophie Breitenbach (Newport, R.I.), and Stephanie Moreau (Methuen, Mass.) were all honored for their contributions to the women's volleyball program and the Endicott community.
Hadley Helenbrook (Atlanta, Ga.) led the way for the Gulls with 15 kills (.323) alongside 13 digs and three service aces.
Ava Grace Dresback (Pawcatuck, Conn.) added 12 putaways and eight digs, while Sanborm and Breitenbach both chipped in with three kills each.
Hannah Maguire (San Jose, Calif.) facilitated the attack with 32 assists to go along with eight digs and four service aces.
Defensively, Abby Downs (Billerica, Mass.) led the backline with a match-high-tying 15 digs.
At the front of the net, Talia Camacho (Franklin Square, N.Y.) posted five kills (.300) and three block assists.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Endicott leads the all-time series 33-3 (16 straight victories dating back to 2013).
- Maguire has recorded four or more service aces in seven matches this season.
- Eleventh double-double of the year for Helenbrook.
- Tonight's match featured 17 ties (10-2-5) and six lead changes (5-0-1).

Endicott (14-11, 8-1 CNE) travels to Johnson & Wales (RI) on Saturday, November 8 for a 12 PM match start. UNE (11-12, 4-5 CNE) welcomes Hartford to campus on Saturday, November 8 at 2 PM.
