    Biddeford, ME - Nicole Prokop (Montgomery, NH/Gateway Regional) ran to a fourth place finish at the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship meet last weekend.

    Prokop covered the 6000-meter course in 25:47 earned her All Conference honors for the second consecutive year and paced the Gulls to a fifth place finish. Endicott tallied 145 points, while Roger Williams took home the team title with 27 points.

    Also running well for the Gulls was Lynne Gallagher (Lowell, MA/Lowell) who took 32nd place crossing the finish line in 29:11 and Kathleen Lascelles (York, ME/York) who was 46th in 30:21. Angelique Baillargeron (Exeter, NH/Exeter) and Laurie Bernier crossed the finish line in 64th and 65th respectively to round out the scoring for EC.

    Emily Bome of Roger Williams won the individual title in 24:18. The Gulls next head to Springfield MA for the NCAA Division III New England Regional meet on November 11, 2006. The top teams and individuals from that meet will head to Wilmington, Ohio for the 2006 NCAA National Championship meet.
