BEVERLY, Mass. — The Endicott women's cross country program has earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team accolades for the 2024 season. In addition to the team award, Hannah Risko (Albany, N.Y.) and Hannah Shepard (Keene, N.H.) also claimed USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors.
Endicott ranked first overall among Conference of New England (CNE) programs, second in New England, and eighth nationally with a 3.84 GPA.
All-Academic teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period, among other qualifiers.
Risko (MBA) and Shepard (expressive arts therapy and psychology) garnered All-Academic Athlete honors by registering a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 on a 4.0 scale while finishing in the top-25 percent at NCAA DIII East Regionals.
Back in November, Shepard finished 46th overall with a time of 23:40.06, while Risko was 51st in 23:49.35 on the 6-kilometer course.
Shepard is now a three-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honoree (most in program history).
This is Risko's first career award.
