Chose Endicott because of its strong academic and athletic programs as well as for its early internship exposure.

Professional Aspirations

Aspires to be an elementary school teacher... Hopes to continue to play or coach field hockey... Completed an internship at Pine Grove Elementary School in Rowley, Mass. in a second grade classroom... While in the classroom, she helped prepare lessons and aid the students and the teacher in daily classroom activities... Also interned at Great Oak Elementary in Danvers in a fourth grade classroom where she worked instructing small groups in mathematics and literacy... Interned at the Bowditch Elementary School for Sheltered English Immersion Placement, worked with students less proficient in English in making daily classwork more feasible.

Emily on what she's learned from her internships:

"My first internship at Pine Grove Elementary School really solidified my love for teaching and aspired me to want to become a second grade teacher."

Community Service

Be The Match Foundation Bone Marrow Drive April 2015... In high school, worked with the Salvation Army during Christmas time... Lawrence Boys and Girls Club Thanksgiving dinner... Triton Youth Field Hockey Camps... Northeast Arc Special Needs Dance Volunteer
