BEVERLY, Mass. – The second-seeded Endicott women's volleyball team has advanced to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Semifinals for the 16th straight season. The women will play host to third-seeded Salve Regina on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.

Endicott currently possesses an overall record of 20-9 while they finished the regular season with a conference record of 8-1. Salve Regina currently stands with an overall record of 17-11 overall with a conference record of 6-3. In the regular season meeting between these two teams, the Gulls claimed a 3-0 victory on the road in a tightly contested match, winning by scores of 25-23, 25-18 and 25-22 (recap here).
Endicott has qualified for the CCC tournament every year since joining the conference back in 1999. The women have claimed five conference titles over that 18 year span, the last of which came last season. With head coach Tim Byram at the helm, Endicott has produced a 359-264 (.577) record overall, including a conference record of 130-28 (.823), and five CCC titles in his 18 year tenure. The most recent CCC title came last season.
The Gulls come into the CCC semifinal round after taking down #7 Gordon 3-0 on Tuesday night. Endicott was led by a 16 kill night from Emma Mancini (Lynnfield, Mass.), while Zoey Gifford (Natick, Mass.) produced a double-double with 36 assists and 13 digs as the Gulls won by scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-19.
The Seahawks have advanced to the CCC semifinals by way of a 3-1 win over UNE in the CCC quarterfinals. Middle Annie Donahue (Chelmsford, Mass.) led all players with 22 kills on 39 swings as Salve won by scores of 25-27, 25-19, 26-24, 25-14.
The winner of the contest will move onto the CCC Championship, which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the highest remaining seed. The winner of that match will earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament.
