Bio

Why Endicott? Why Division III?

I love the location and the opportunities presented by the East Coast. I also liked the atmosphere of a highly involved campus. It seems as if everyone participates in a sport, club, or performing arts group, which is really cool... Ellen also likes the allure of the small campus atmosphere and that there is a huge emphasis on community and pride at Endicott, which is something she is incredibly proud to be a part of

Ellen on her experience with the Minnesota Special Hockey League:

"Being an assistant coach for the Minnesota Special Hockey was really personal. Since my brother has autism, it was difficult to find a hockey team that he could play on. Once we heard of this league, he was finally able to fulfill his dream and I knew that I wanted to help other kids do the same. The kids vary in age, disability, and function so it gives you a lot of experience. It's so rewarding to be part of such an amazing program."
