Bio
Renee Fraker joined the Endicott community in March of 2012 as the Assistant Director of Athletic Giving in the office of Institutional Advancement. Fraker brings four years of fundraising and development experience as well as higher education credentials that will be instrumental in her role at Endicott.
As the primary liaison between Endicott Athletics and Institutional Advancement, Fraker heads up several key components of the College’s athletics special events, fundraising, and programming. This includes the annual Gull Club Golf Tournament, the President’s Gull Club Donor Reception, Alumni and Parent Receptions, and the Keys to Degrees Golf Tournament. Fraker also handles other Gull Club efforts such as the quarterly newsletter, direct mail solicitation, and other types of personal outreach for new Gull Club members.
Fraker came to Endicott following a two-year stint at the Centennial Conference where she served as Director of Championships and Assistant to the Executive Director while fulfilling her NCAA Division III Women’s and Minorities Grant Award. She managed numerous conference championships and special events for the Centennial Conference, served as a support liaison for conference administrator meetings and the conference’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and publicized the Centennial Conference and its member institutions through numerous sports information duties.
After receiving her Bachelor of Science degree from Millersville University in Speech Communication and Public Relations with a minor in Athletic Coaching, Fraker continued her education at Millersville by obtaining a Master of Education in Sport Administration. While at Millersville, she worked with both the athletic department and the office of advancement. Her duties revolved around numerous fundraising and special event opportunities like the Gene Carpenter Football Foundation, the Women’s Giving Circle Brochure, the annual Black & Gold Alumni Golf Tournament, and large campus events including Homecoming, Family Weekend, and Commencement. Fraker also involved herself with student-athlete specific programs like CHAMPS Life Skills, the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and a number of programs with the Millersville field hockey team on which she was a member herself.
Fraker has attended several professional development events like the NCAA Convention, the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar, several rules and compliance meetings related to collegiate athletics as well as women’s leaderships symposiums both regionally and nationally.
