2010 3 on 3 Basketball All-Stars
Men’s 3 on 3 Basketball All-EC 1st team
PG- Mike Carlson- Lightning quick guard who had the confidence to go one on one with any player in the league. Carlson put his team on his shoulders in several situations and even when he was double teamed he was able to perform at an extremely high level
SG- Pat Nee- The league leader in scoring. Nee was able to knock down shots from anywhere on the court. His Ray-Allen-like jump shot was a true pleasure to watch during his 4 year career.
SF- Zach Markowitz- Wizard with the basketball. Zack could shoot the three, drive to the basket, dish off to open teammates, and rebound. When it comes to total skill-set, Markowitz may be the best the league has seen in a long time.
PF- Matt Bibeau- A versatile threat on the offensive end of the floor. Few players in the league have the ability to score like Bibeau. When playing well, Bibeau has the skills to beat teams single-handedly.
C- Stephen Carter- An up and coming superstar in the league. Always a threat every time he touched the basketball. Carter was amongst the league’s top scorers but his ability to clean up on the glass and score easy baskets make him an elite talent.
Women’s 3 on 3 Basketball All-EC 1st team
PG- Stefanie Johnston – Terrific dribbler who always seemed to find an open teammate. Johnston was one of the best rebounding guards in the league and always made plays when her team needed her the most.
SG- Jess Morin – A confident player with the knack for making big-time shots. Morin often brought the ball down court and set-up plays when the game was on the line and her ability to create shot was unparalleled.
SF- Kate Cioffi – An all-around great player who always steps up her game in the playoffs. When the games matter the most, Cioffi seems to dominate against even the toughest competition.
PF- Molly Cahill – A tremendous talent who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Cahill was a force in the paint and very rarely got denied when she was able to get her shot away.
C- Katy Hasek- And extremely athletic center who could made plays all over the court. Hasek was a surprisingly strong ball-handler with the ability to find an open teammate but also take the ball to the hoop.
