3 on 3 Basketball Quick Hits

    3 on 3 Basketball is well underway with several teams looking to have an opportunity at attaining the title in 2010. With a talent pool which looks to be amongst the deepest in the history of the program, the playoffs will likely be the most intense and entertaining intramural basketball Endicott has ever seen. Tim Donaghy’s Bookies are looking like the early favorites with a talented crew of players who can beat you in every aspect of the game. With “Bombs Away” Beau Carson and Trevor “TreMay” Maynard draining long range shots and cleaning up on the glass, TDB may have too much talent for any team to matchup with….  The Big Dogs also look like strong contenders for an intramural t-shirt. With several talented players and a wealth of intramural experience, the Big Dogs have a lot of confidence and have the game to back it up. With Brian “Buckets” Millea, Joe “Can’t Cover Me” Cooley and “Pistol” Pat Cusik, the Big Dogs can put up some impressive stat lines and create matchup problems for many teams… Not Enough Jahboa, even with their undefeated record, seems to be flying under the radar in terms of respect amongst the league. Matt “Big Ticket” Bibeau is an extremely talented player who can take any game he plays in. Ryan “Clutch” Connelly always seems willing and able to take big shots and seems to be the catalyst for his team success... In the EC Women’s league, TOMS is leading the league with a perfect record and look to be in line for a run at a league championship. Led by Andie “Downtown” Doyle and Trish “Lightning” Ledbetter, TOMs have the ability to score both inside and outside and create matchup nightmares all over the floor for opposing teams. All we can do is wait and see whether the sophomore heavy team will be able to hold off some of the savvy veteran teams in the league.
